Lot consists of three 18th century engravings--1st item: c. 1765 map of South America, pictorial cartouche lower left "A NEW & CORRECT MAP OF SOUTH AMERICA from the latest Improvements and regulated by Astronomical Observations", probably engraved after Bowen by R. Reynolds, c. 1765, hand colored, unframed, 13"W, 8 1/2"H; toning, edge tears outside image, stain to upper center--2nd item: c. 1790 hand colored engraving by Grignion "A Man & Woman of the Nawdonefsus to the westward of the Mississippi in North America", depicting the costumes and weaponry of a Native American family, unframed; 8 1/2"W, 7 1/4"H; toning--3rd item: Portrait engraving by T. Mansfeld of Ferdinand I (1503-1564), dressed in armor with scepter in hand, standing next to table with Imperial crown, background battle scene, dedication lines of Ursinus Velius below "Carolus Hesperus regnat, Fernandus Eois; Quam bene divisum est fratribus Imperium."; 6"W, 8 3/4"H; toning, creases
