He is generally considered one of the greatest painters and printmakers in European art history and the most important in Dutch history.

Excellent condition. Amand Durand born in Paris, in 1831 became a master engraver early in his career. He deeply admired the 15th and 16th century old masters engravings. Amand Durand died in 1905 after he restored the original copper plates of Rembrandt.
