A selection of late 19th and early 20th century gold jewellery. To include a 15ct gold turquoise accent snake brooch, a peridot and split pearl pendant, together with three gem-set stickpins. AF. Length of brooch 2.5cms. Length of pendant 4.7cms. Total weight 9.2gms.
Condition
The lot is in fair overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Some heavy scratches. Areas of discolouration. The snake brooch has a bend to the end of the snake head. Fittings deficient with soft solder visible. Turquoise with slight discolouration. Pendant stamped 9ct. Peridot reasonably well matched, moderate-significant abrasion, one with a small chip. One split pearl deficient, general discolouration to split pearls. Drops to centre and beneath are deficient. Riding crop stickpin stamped 15ct, deficient seed pearl. Opal and seed pearl cluster stickpin with damage and losses to seed pearls, opal with significant abrasion and large chip. Spider stickpin deficient main gem, damage to claws, may require attention, pin slightly bent to tip.
