DESCRIPTION: This is a collection of four Native American woodland Indian baskets from New England circa 1800s. The Native American baskets are hand woven in a rod coiling style with decorative twisted intricate designs. Three of the baskets are tabletop baskets designed to hold berries or small items. The fourth basket is a small gathering baskets with a handle. By the late 1800s, Native American woodland Indians were making decorative baskets for the tourist trade.MEASUREMENTS: The smallest basket is 8 inches long, 6 inches wide, and 3 1/2 inches high. The second basket is 5 inches high and 6 inches wide at top. The third basket is 9 ½ inches long, 8 inches wide, and 3 inches high. The fourth handled basket is 10 inches long, 9 inches wide, and 4 inches high not including handle. SHIPPING: Packaging, handling, and shipping for all locations in the 48 Continental United States is $30.
