WELSH LINEN PRESS - Two-Part 18th c. Welsh Carmarthen Oak Press or Linen Cupboard, with flat deeply molded cornice, banded pediment, two paneled doors over two shelves, between turned 3/4 round columns; the base has two drawers over three graduated drawers, all with the original mushroom knobs, on simple base. Top two drawers lock, key is included. The original two front turned legs are in a drawer, lacking the back legs. 72" x 46" x 21". Trim missing from left side at base. Originally purchased in the village of Lampeter, Ceredigion, South West Wales.
