A Proto-Corinthian squat aryballos, c. 725-600 BC, depicting a band of animals, likely a lion and others appearing to attack, and some floral decoration, though much of the decoration has been worn off, obscuring the scene. The neck is decorated with black rays, and the rim is decorated with pellets and zigzags, H: 2 in (5.2cm). Ex Estate of Hope N. Efron. Efron worked as an economist at the Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics. She received special commendations for her volunteer work with the American Councils for International Education and Youth for Understanding.
