EARLY CONNECTICUT SHELF CLOCK - Wooden Works Pillar & Scroll Shelf Clock with Eglomise Panel, time and strike wooden movement made by Samuel Terry, from the Eli Terry patent, cased and finished by Elisha Neal, New Hartford, with the original paper labels inside, the eglomise depicting a stately Federal home with large outbuildings, the face of a vignette of a smaller colonial home, the case in walnut and bird's-eye maple, with brass urn finials and bob, original weights and key. 30 1/4" x 16 1/2" x 4 1/2", good condition, minor veneer losses, repaired foot, replaced clear glass face, some losses to backpainting.
