Reynolds and J.C. Jones; Chicago, Rufus Blanchard. 1856. With 1850 census at bottom, portraits of John C. Fremont & Wm. L. Dayton at top. 28" x 33 3/4". Folded, as issued. Edge bends and chips, toned, stains, small burns, notations in ink, including 'all this is now open to slavery" scrawled diagonally across the Western States, in the period.
