Description
This is an original set of one-of-a-kind vintage 1940s or 1950s negatives and photographs.
Great group of five negatives plus photographs from four of the negatives. Firemen on a call in their turnout gear, by their aerial ladder truck, and with their Dalmatian dog. At least two companies on scene (helmets show 1 and 4). The truck looks to be from the 1930s or 1940s. The photographer lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota and New York; we believe these shots are from New York (FDNY).
Estate find from a world traveler/collector and professional photographer (he also was a reconnaissance photographer with the Flying Tigers). These and others we obtained were shot by him and kept carefully preserved.
SIZE: Negatives: 4" x 5". Photos: 3 1/2" x 5".
