As per Daniel Friedenberg: Plaster Bull Head from Sinai 400-100BC. Cult of the sacred bull of Memphis (Egypt) Measures about 8 inches in length and about 5 inches wide.
PLEASE NOTE the horns are broken off as shown in the photos. They were gently placed for the photo session. Buyer will have to repair as they see fit.
We believe this piece is a funerary mask used with a bull mummy. Animals were frequently mummified for the after life.
