A cultured pearl single-strand necklace. Comprising a strand of eighty-five graduated cultured pearls, measuring from 2.9 to 8mms, to the 9ct gold diamond accent clasp. Import marks for Birmingham, 1988. Length 45cms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches in keeping with minimal wear. The pearls are a fairly well matched creamy white colour with fairly good to fair lustre with pink overtones and fairly good skins showing some minor blemishes Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if these cultured pearls are from a fresh or saltwater source. Total diamond weight 0.03ct stamped to clasp. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched. Light nicks and chips can be seen to some. Fine feathers can be seen under magnification. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Restringing recommended.
