Description
A late 19th century gold coral stickpin. Carved to depict a woman's bust, to the spiral pin. Length of coral 1.9cms. Weight 4.2gms.
Condition
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Small repairs to mount. Probable replacement pin. Glue to coral where the panel meets the mount. General dirt to the coral surface. Small polyp holes scattered, one to her cheek. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue and on our website for Coloured Gemstones. Coral untested for natural colour origin. The coral is a deep slightly reddish orange hue. Discolouration surrounding polyp holes.
