Pierre Filloeul (1696; died Paris after 1754) French printmaker. He was the son of the engraver Gilbert Filloeul (1644-1714). He was his father's pupil (and not, as is sometimes claimed, that of Jacques-Philippe Lebas). His oeuvre extends from 1731 to 1754 and numbers c. 150 prints. Original etching, Portrait of Louis Duc D'Orleans, image approx. 7-1/2 x 5-1/2" plus margin. This is an 18th century impression.
