Description
The first cane is an eagle head crook which could possibly be sailor made based upon the style of carving. It is dated 1887 and signed "Made by F.F. Thomas". The second is the knob handle has a face carved with a snake wrapped around his head. The wood is lightly sanded hickory and very strong. The cane may also be sailor made depicting some of the exotic cultures he encountered. Circa 1880. Condition (Excellent - Near Mint). Size Largest 35 - 1/4" L.
