This is a VERY RARE vintage 1949 book titled Paramount Presents Cecil B. DeMille's Masterpiece Samson and Delilah.

Published by Paramount Pictures Inc., 1949. Hardcover. Dark pink silk covers. Filled with black & white and color shots from the movie, including lots of photos of Hedy Lamarr and Victor Mature as well as George Sanders, Angela Lansbury, and Henry Wilcoxon.

This was a special edition book put out by the studio to go along with the release of the movie. It was given to people associated with the movie and was not available to the general public; this copy was given to one of the photographers (we acquired a large number of items directly from this photographer).

The book comes in the original chartreuse box that matches the color of the text on the cover of the book. There also is an outer protective box that everything fits into.
