Description
2nd century AD. A mixed group of bronze items comprising: a fish bow-brooch with enamelled eyes, punched scale texture to the body and face, notched lateral and dorsal fins, pin and catchplate to the reverse; a plate brooch with champ-levé enamelled lozenge plaque, arms with scrolled finials, catchplate to the reverse; a disc brooch with champ-levé enamelled triskele, pellets to the arms and voids; an openwork belt-fitting with La Tène trumpet swirls, two studs to the reverse.
