Description
8th-9th century AD. A flat-section disc brooch decorated with ridged concentric circles comprising a tall central cell surrounded by an annular panel divided into cells, each enclosing a radially placed triangle; outside, roundel and ring-and-dot detailing, broken by a single bar at one point aligned with the axis of the pin; pierced pin lug and catchplate complete to the reverse.
