Neolithic, 3000-1500 BC. A large bifacially knapped javelin point of excellent proportions, tappering to a point at each end, in a rich black transluscent flint. Cf. Property of a gentleman; found tidal foreshore, near Whitstable, Kent, UK, in 2005.
