A pair of convex cast appliqués, each a leaping lion facing with forelegs extended, one with looped tail extending along the back; one with four pins and cleats to the reverse, the other with three; eastern European workmanship. 21 grams total, 41-44mm (1 1/2 - 1 3/4"). From an old Munich collection; acquired on the German art market before 2000.
