Hallmarked 1894 AD. A barrel-shaped hoop with black enamelled panel, scrolled foliage to the shoulders, three pearls inset in lozengiform settings; inscribed memorial to the inner face 'M.A.Wylde died Sep. 10th 1894 Aged 83', maker's mark 'D&F' within a double roundel and hallmarked with a crown, '18' for purity, an anchor (for Birmingham) and date letter 'u'. 3.90 grams, 18mm overall, 15.39mm internal diameter (approximate size British I 1/2, USA 4 1/2, Europe 8.16, Japan 8) (3/4"). Property of a Suffolk lady; formerly in the Deago collection, by descent from the vendor's mother.
