This stoneware, natural glazed stein features detailed design of a fireman's crest with a fireman fighting a fire to the left and an fireman sounding the alarm on the right. Over the crest are the words, Die Jahrhunderte vergehen-ein Bedanke bleibt bestehen, translated as, Centuries have past-Ever thankful. Along the bottom of the design are the words, Helfen in Not ist unser Gebot, translated as, Our motto is to help in emergencies. A fireman pewter figurine serves as the thumblift and a red faceted plastic gem is fixed to the ornamental pewter lid.
