Important Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Handled Vase 10''x9''x5.5''. This period handled vase has gilt and polychrome enameling of the eight Buddhist precious symbols. It was once a covered urn, but it has since been altered. The bottom has been cut and filled with its original lid. It was then drilled for a lamp base and has a crack that extends the entire length of the vase on the back side. It comes with fitted metal mounting and is fresh from a Montana estate. It likely dates to the Qianlong reign and is of the period, within the Qing dynasty. Imperial porcelain.
