Approximately 25 photographs, various sizes, 4½x6½" and larger, mounted to leaves in an early 20th century album.
Mostly commercially produced images, captioned in the negatives, including: Group of miners in camp, Atlin, B.C., Sluicing on 77-78 B. Bonanza, Yukon River, No. 13 El Dorado Looking Down, Cheechaco Hill, Below Lower Discovery Dominion Creek, Lake Le Barge, etc. Including a few unidentified images.
From the estate of Clarence and Ethel Berry. Clarence Jesse Berry, (1867-1930), known as C.J. was a businessman and successful gold miner in the Klondike Gold Rush. He and his wife Ethel Bush Berry, made a further fortune in Ester, Alaska in 1902, and founded several oil companies over the years, which eventually became Berry Petroleum company.
