Description
A triangular Masonic watch by Schwab and Brandt, Geneva. Numbered 1033. Signed nickel finished adjusted fifteen jewel keyless club tooth lever movement. White metal case cast and chased with further Masonic symbols. 50mm.
Condition
Keyless wind movement is currently not functioning. Movement displays light scratches and marks. Potential signs of alteration through the presence of significant marks around the screws. Dial currently displays a distinct crack between the ten and seven and light scratches across the entire surface. Hour markers are significantly tarnished and writing originally placed underneath the dial has entirely rubbed off. Hands appear to be lightly tarnished and the center currently displays rusting. Glass appears to bear light scratching and marks. Chips are present around the edges. Case has medium scratches and dents. Medium chips appear to be placed around the edge. Case back appears to show light scratches and dents. Hinges currently display heavy rusting and medium tarnishing. Crown appears to show medium scratches and light tarnishing. This lot does not come with a box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold. Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
