Massachusetts State. October 18, 1776. One Shilling Six Pence. Paul Revere Engraved First “Codfish” Issue. Conservation. Fine+.
Fr. MA-229. This evenly circulated 1776 Revolutionary War note has full, clearly readable text and designs with a nice Paul Revere Engraved “Codfish” vignette at top upon the face side. Signed in brown by David Cheever. There are some deft sealed splits with conservation. Reverse: BOSTON : Printed at by JOHN GILL, October 1776. A very collectible Paul Revere “Codfish” note that looks pleasing for display.
