Very sharp sample card of A's right fielder Tom Poorman in a classic batting pose. The Athletics Kalamazoo Bats are noted for their use of a hanging backdrop in the background, with trees and plants painted on the backdrop, and this is a fine example, with the photo clearly showing that a backdrop is being used. A very clean card perfectly centered, with fairly square corners, just a little soiling on the blank reverse. Excellent condition. Reserve $300. Estimate $600/$1,200.
