1933 R319 Goudey #149 Babe Ruth

Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Beautiful example of one of Babe Ruth's most classic cards, #149 with red background from the 1933 Goudey series. By all accounts this card appears a strong Ex, but perhaps the top to bottom centering (which is approximately 80/20) has knocked it down a grade. This is a magnificent and striking example, bright and clean, and with perfect registration (which is rare to find with this particular card). In an extremely desirable condition, with the most important elements common with examples of a much higher technical grade. This is an ideal card for the collector who wants a 1933 Goudey Ruth card worthy of the finest collection, but who is not interested in spending the many thousands (or tens of thousands) of dollars a significantly higher graded example might run.
