1897 Cameo Pepsin Buffalo BBC Team Pin Pristine team pin of the Buffalo BB Club features portraits of the entire Buffalo baseball team. The team pins are a very distinctive subset of the larger Cameo Pepsin Gum pin set, and are extremely rare. There are only four different teams known in the set. It is interesting to note that the offered example is the plate specimen used by Ted Hake to illustrate the Cameo Pepsin team pins in his groundbreaking illustrated sports pinback book, published in 1986. The original back paper is partially missing (these back papers are usually not of much concern to collectors, but we are making note for those interested). Nr/Mt. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000.
