1912 T202 Hassan Triple Folders Collection (29) Assorted

Sharp-looking group of 29 cards from this classic tobacco issue, with many Hall of Famers, including Mathewson and Ty Cobb. Four cards grade Ex-Mt, 7 Ex, 7 Vg-Ex, 5 Vg and 6 Gd. Highlights: #15 Bresnahan (Ex-Mt), two #31 Bender (both Gd), three #34 Walsh (Vg-Ex, Vg, Gd), #36 Speaker/Wood (Vg-Ex), #38 Clarke (Ex, appears nicer but has light wrinkle), #47 Mathewson (Vg), #68 Cobb/Moriarty (Vg due to three very light creases, but looks much nicer, with sharp corners, great color), #105 Clarke/Speaker almost caught (Vg-Ex), #110 Huggins (Vg). These cards have been graded harshly, as is the standard for T202s. This is a very bright, clean, attractive group, appropriately downgraded to account for the minor technical flaws which are so common to the issue. Total 29 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$1,500.
