1913 T200 Fatima New York Nationals Premium

This large team photograph of the New York Giants was issued as a special premium by Fatima cigarettes. The New York Nationals are considered by many to be one of the most desirable in this series, as this powerhouse team includes Hall of Famers Christy Mathewson and John McGraw, as well as Jim Thorpe. T200 Premiums, which are giant versions of the T200 Fatima team cards packaged with Fatima cigarettes, feature team photos on thick cardboard mounts, and are ideal for display. These large premium team cards are among the rarest of all baseball tobacco issues, and were available only by mail in exchange for 40 coupons which were included (one per pack) with Fatima cigarettes. This example has some light foxing, with a couple of small stains in the upper left and professional restoration to the corners of the mount. Despite small flaws, the Premium still has an overall Excellent appearance, presents a magnificent and crystal clear image, and is ideal for display. 11.75" x 19.5" Beautifully matted and framed. Reserve $800. Estimate $1,500/$2,500.
