1975 Wacky Pack Original Art Smell Ecch-100

From the fifteenth series of Topps Wacky Packs, offered is the original art to the Wacky Pack sticker spoofing Shell Motor Oil. Appropriately, a skunk is the mascot featured on this original Wacky Pack art product parody. This artwork was original sold in the famous Topps auction of 1989, where it appeared as one of the two artworks represented by lot C119. As close examination of the illustration shows, there is the most minute amount of type missing from the "o" and "t" in the word "motor" next to the little skunk driving the car, but this is very minor and does not detract from the art in any significant way, but is being pointed out for the sake of accuracy since it is easy to miss. (This type of letter loss is very common with original Wacky Pack artworks.) Standard production-related remnants on blank reverse. The front is in Near Mint condition. 5 x 7 inches. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000.
