The menu is hand signed by Jackie Robinson and others on an Ontario Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association Dinner Program! The event was held February 2nd, 1956 and features some of the year's biggest sports stars illustrated on the program. Other autographs on the piece include: Willie Shoemaker, Normie Kwong, Cliff Lumsdon, Al Balding, Muzz Patrick and two other unidentified autographs. It was acquired in 2013 from a man whose grandfather was actually present at the event and personally received the autographs. This gentleman's grandson preserved the piece wonderfully and, for its age, the piece is in outstanding condition and all the autographs are clearly legible and strong; each autograph would grade highly by PSA, SGC, or any other autograph authentication company. Included with this signed menu comes two original Jackie Robinson cards graded by SGC. The first is the 1956 Topps card #90 - Grey Back variation. The second is the ??????????1947-66 Exhibits card. Finally, the last item framed is a Jackie Robinson first day cover stamped Cooperstown Aug 2. 1982, marking the 20 year anniversary of his hall of fame induction.
