Medicinal water buffalo horn or "naga morsarang", Toba Batak, Sumatra, Indonesia, used by the datu in rituals, hollowed and wrapped in fiber to hold a "pupuk" mixture, the tip carved with a wood figure, the reverse end having a stopper fromed as an ancestral head, 9" l x 5"w x 3"d.
