wonderfully exhibiting the artist's sense of humor and extraordinary skill, the head and jacket of dapper outdoorsman composed of an intricately carved blue chrysocolla with flecks of malachite, the face accented with carnelian and white agate accents, his cap and britches of golden tiger's eye quartz, his wings of hawk's eye quartz, his shirt of white cacholong opal accented with cabochon cut sapphire buttons, his vest in red jasper accented with gold bezel set diamond buttons, the textured legs and removable fishing rod with line constructed of solid 18 karat yellow gold, his brown jasper bucket accented with a gold wirework handle and containing four grey agate fish with inset sapphire eyes, standing on a base of rough aquamarine above a black obsidian plinth.
