A Jerry Lewis Signed Prop Flying Saucer from "Visit to a Small Planet." Paramount, 1960. Made of wood and metal, in a circular shape, painted gray and silver, small hatch on bottom opens, likely used in longshots as "Kreton's" [Jerry Lewis] spaceship, signed in black felt-tip ink on the bottom surface "For My Pal / Jon: always / Jerry Lewis / 6/10/59" [Jon Taurog, director Norman Taurog's son], with the film's title and signatures of co-stars Joan Blackman and Earl Holliman appearing next to Lewis' inscription; included with a black and white still showing Lewis with Norman and Jon Taurog on the set signing this piece as well as one other black and white still. (Please note saucer is somewhat cracked and its paint is chipped and scratched due to age.)
