Grateful Dead Steal Your Face Medallion by Owsley "Bear" Stanley (c. 1993). Made of bronze-colored metal with a black patina, and quite weighty. The lower right side is signed "29/150 Owsley Stanley," the longtime (and infamous) Dead Family member better known by his nickname of "Bear" who, among many other things, was an artist; according to Stanley's Wikipedia page, he and "his close friend, Bob Thomas, designed this lightning bolt skull logo often referred to by Grateful Dead fans as 'Steal Your Face,' 'Stealie,' or 'SYF'" and it is now forever associated with the band. The diameter is 7". In Excellent condition.
