Beatles - John Lennon Bag One Original White Portfolio Bag with Framed Suite Limitation Page #255/300 (1970). Lennon created a series of drawings depicting scenes from his and Yoko Ono's wedding and honeymoon, giving them to her as a wedding present in 1969. The next year, a series of fourteen lithographs were created based on the original drawings and exhibited in New York and London. There were 300 numbered sets of the prints created, each 23" x 30" in size, placed inside an imprinted white zippered case, and sold through art galleries. We are offering one of those 300 now-scarce leather cases, 32.5" x 24" in size. Very fine condition with only light soiling.

Also included is the first page "limitation" lithograph describing the set: "John Lennon/bag one is a series of original lithographs. Each has been pulled on BFK Rives paper at The Bank Street Atelier, Ltd., New York... Example No. 255/300". Not signed by Lennon. Handsomely matted and framed to an overall 29" x 36".
