Aretha Franklin "Don't Play That Song" RIAA Gold Record Award (Atlantic 45-2751, 1970).  Co-written by Ahmet Ertegun and originally recorded by Ben E. King, Aretha's version spent five weeks at the top of the R&B charts. According to the plaque beneath the gold disc, this award was "Presented to Ahmet M. Ertegun to Commemorate the Sale of More Than One Million Copies of the Atlantic Records Pop Single Record 'Don't Play That Song'". Framed to an overall 13" x 17" and in Excellent condition with minor scratches on the frame. Ahmet Ertegun was the founder and president of Atlantic Records as well as co-composer of this song.
