19th Century half plate daguerreotype of a scholar, possibly by Southworth & Hawes, in an ogee-style frame. Plate 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"; sight approx 4 1/2" x 3 1/2"; frame 9 3/4" x 8 1/2". Nicks to corners of frame.
