Description
Colima. W. Mexico, Ca 300 BCE to 300 CE. First, rattle in the form of a dog in buff pottery with red stripes, 5-1/4" L. Next, a Nayarit zoomorphic figure, probably used as a whistle, head emerging from bulbous base - possibly a dog. 1-1/8" H.
Provenance: Ex-Lynn Langdon collection acquired in the 1950's.
