Description
Pre-Columbian, West Coast, Mexico, Ca 300 BCE to 300 CE. A lovely and choice group of pottery items! Two redware jars, each of similar form with short rim and piriform shape, lip of each reserved - 3-3/4" H for largest. Along with two miniature shallow bowls. First is tan with deep red interior, 2-3/4" D. Next is orangeware with red and black added pigments at rim, beautiful manganese bloom right in center - 2" D.
Provenance: Ex Kincade Collection acquired in the 1950's.
