Description
Pre-Columbian, West Coast, Mexico, Ca 300 BCE to 300 CE. Another group of fine pottery items! Three smallish pottery seed jars, two in piriform shape, other very rounded. The two piriform shaped jars each have flared rims, one reserved, other burnished red, one with fluted sides and the other with incised cross-hatching. 3-7/8" H for tallest. Rounded jar has a slight indention on base and small rim, interior of rim left reserved. 3" H.
Provenance: Ex Kincade Collection acquired in the 1950's.
