with commentary by Maurus Servius Honoratus, 312 leaves, Roman and occasional Greek type, old marginalia in red or brown ink, some slightly cropped or ran slightly due to damp environment, damp-mottling to first and last two gatherings with some old paper repairs, a little light age-toning and other minor marking to a few ff., later ms. title on preliminary blank f., 18th century half morocco, spine gilt, rubbed, small repair to head of spine, [Bodleian V-090; Goff V169; not in BMC], folio, Venice, Petrus de Plasiis, Cremonensis, Bartholomaeus de Blavis and Andreas Torresanus, 1 August 1480. A very good example of one of the few publications printed by the three printers together between 1479 & 1481, after which Torresanus and De Blavis set up a printing shop in conjunction with Maphaeus de Paterbonis, producing as their first collaboration an edition of Nicolaus de Ausmo s Supplementum Summae Pisanellae published on 10 March 1481.
