Brainerd & Armstrong Spool Cabinet. Carved walnut cabinet with pierced carved gallery crest having turned finials at the corners, timepiece in the center with a 4 in. paper dial (missing movement). The frieze of the case is ebonized with gilt incising and an advertising panel for “The Brainerd & Armstrong Co”. Case front has a long mirrored door in the center with 13 spool drawers on either side 12 having glass fronts and 2 long storage drawers in the bottom with raised ebonized and gilt incised panels. Has a nice enhanced original finish. 45 in. high x 33 in. wide x 17.5 in. deep.
