A commentary on the "Tenures" of Sir Thomas Littleton, reprinting the latter text in the original Law French and in English translation. The second part, "A table to the first part of the Institutes of the lawes of England" has separate dated title page on 5G4r; text begins a separate register. The first edition was published the preceding year; this second edition is "corrected." The Second Part was not published untilSo 1642, additional Parts in the succeeding decades. The first leaf is a blank preceding the frontispiece. This copy lacking the folding chart. STC 15785.
Condition
Some rubbing and wear to covers, a few gouges to leather, but sound; very good or better internally, just minor soiling.
