Franz Bergman cold painted bronze figurine. Austrian, 19th century. Cold painted bronze figurine depicting a scribe next to a book stand and an opium pipe. Base is double stamped with Bergman amphora mark, and is stamped "Geschützt". Height 3 1/4", width 5 3/4", depth 4 1/8".

Minor loss to the paint throughout consistent with age. Some craquelure and nicks to the white robe of the man. There is a general layer of grime and dust to the piece.
