PRINCE ALBERT TOBACCO ADVERTISING SIGN, lithograph on tin, depicting "Chief Joseph, Nez Perce", in full head dress, compliments of the R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. at lower right, American Art Works, Coshocton, Ohio imprint lower left. Later frame. 1913-1914. Sign 24" x 20".
Provenance: Property of a Southern California family.
Catalogue Note: This sign was given to the present owner by his grandfather in the 1950s. His grandfather received it from a friend in the 1940s who owned a tobacco shop in Sierra Madre, CA. A letter to this effect accompanies this sign.

Condition
Fine as-found condition, several very minor dents, 1 1/4" and 3/4" light scratch to center right edge, some very light spotting, several very light spots of surface wear/rust. Reserve.
