A 19th Century Australian Scrimshaw Powder Horn. Extremely large horn with extensive scrimshaw work, includes a banner reading "Advance Australia" above the figure of a woman with an Emu at one side and a Wallaby at the other, all above the image of a ship, a man, and the Royal coat of Arms. A rectangle is carved at one side and encloses the text "The Present is Small But Friendship is All". Incised with possible signature, "Lambs (?)". Some damage edge chipping noted, lacks a butt plate/cap. Approximately 18 1/2" long. ESTIMATE $2,000-4,000
