A glazed tray formed as two dished waterlily leaves with a winged fairy seated on a third, opening flowerbud by her left side, spray of blossom beneath; to the underside, an applied pink bisque triangle with 'Royal Dux Bohemia' around a hatched cartouche with impressed 'E', impressed '2031 / 2' and 'Czechoslovakia' and green ring with 'Made in Czechoslovakia'. 1.3 kg, 26.5cm (10 1/2"). Property of a West London gentleman; acquired between 1980-2010. The pink triangle is the mark of Royal Dux ware and the impressed 'E' for the founder, Eichler.
