No. 990 - Pullmore Car Transporter with four cars in box, circa 1956-58, Meccano, England; box contains detailed die cast “Dinky Toys Delivery Service” car carrier with four vehicles: No. 154 Hillman Minx; No. 156 Rover 75; No. 161 Austin Somerset; No. 162 Ford Zephyr; this is 100% all original, complete as issued, including ramp, in the original box with all inserts; the box cover has two split corners, repaired on the inside, as well as some edge wear, box insert has a few minor splits; the cars show a few minor chips as a result of movement inside the box, otherwise everything appears unused; all original, complete examples of this gift set are extremely rare and seldom come up for sale.
